Hi. I am Joel. For over 15 years I have worked in photography.
I first started taking photos in college; as a study abroad student in Japan, and a journalist at my home university. After graduation, a friend and myself completed a 9000+ mile bicycle tour around North America that lasted for 9 months.
Soon after I would live in Lake Tahoe for a winter and start my first professional art job as a photographer working at the resort Palisades Tahoe. After Tahoe, I have lived in Nevada, Hawaii, and Japan; shooting photos in all locations.
