Project Overview
The Product
Talk Sync https://talksyncapp.com/ was an app idea created out of the global pandemic in April of 2020. It is a mobile and tablet application made be Western Sound, and used by podcasters to receive high-quality, remote recordings from collaborators and interview guests.

The Problem
With the rise of remote interviews over apps like zoom and google hangouts, a large number of podcast professionals found an increase technical problems, terrible computer mics, and crazy digital distortion when it came to sound capture.

The Goal
Design an app that captures great quality audio from a person’s phone or tablet with a simple and elegant workflow that can be used by a professional podcaster to improve their recordings.

Next Steps
Development for Talk Sync has slowed, but for the purposes of this portfolio, I would like to give the app a little facelift in someways and a little more functionality while still maintaining the simplicity:
- Change the background off-white color to a cooler hue to better compliment the blue talk sync logo. Currently the warmer hue anchors the app to a yellow, but adjusting the hue could make it appear more coherent with the logo
- Change text in the “recording paused” screen to have the bottom button read “end” in place of “finish.” End is more final a statement and conclusion.
- Once the upload is complete, give the options to either input a new interview code or start conversation over.
